USASMDC AWARDS $405 MILLION CONTRACT TO ADVANCED SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT, INC. (ASD).

(Arlington, VA and Huntsville, AL) – Advanced Systems Development, Inc. (ASD) announced on October 27, 2005 the award of a 10 year contract in support of the Command Information Management System (CIMS) to provide Mission-Essential Enterprise Information Technology Solutions to the United States Army Space and Missile Defense Command/United States Army Forces Strategic Command (USASMDC/USARSTRAT). The CIMS mission involves space operations and support to the Missile Defense Agency, USSTRATCOM, ballistic missile research and development, and other operations. The CIMS is the overall command enterprise and support architecture comprising the primary functional IT entities required to support the command and customer’s mission areas.
